Cape Girardeau
Marion
Since the WaveScan equipment used to obtain your measurements for your LASIK procedure is extremely delicate and precise, we only perform Full Dilated Pre-Operative exams in Cape Girardeau. However, Dr. Parker sees patients for Free Screenings and post-operative visits in Marion.
We offer one night’s hotel stay for your procedure date if you reside more than 50 miles away from our Cape Girardeau office. Accommodations are typically at Candlewood Inn & Suites. Please let Katie or Kim know if this would be a convenient option for you when scheduling your surgery.
Poplar Bluff Area
Dr. Brad Stuckenschneider is available to conduct Free Screenings and post-operative visits at our Poplar Bluff and Piedmont locations. While Dr. Brad may assist in your pre-operative and post-operative exams, Dr. Parker would be the physician performing your LASIK procedure in Cape Girardeau.
Coordination of Care
As a convenience to our patients, we also coordinate patient care with many optometrists in the tri-state area who can determine if you are a LASIK candidate and conduct your post-operative LASIK care. We often find your regular eye doctor may have more flexible hours for the post-operative exams, some including evening or Saturday hours.

Dr. Parker is typically in the office for regularly scheduled exams on Mondays and every other Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, depending on his surgery schedule. Full Dilated Pre-Operative exams and LASIK procedures are performed at this location.
Directions
From I-55 north… Take Exit 96, turn LEFT onto Route K / William, turn RIGHT at the Mt. Auburn stop light.
From I-55 South… Take Exit 95, turn RIGHT onto Route 74 (Shawnee Pkwy). Turn LEFT at the Mt. Auburn stop light.
From Illinois Route 146… Come across the Bill Emerson Bridge and stay on Route 74 (Shawnee Pkwy) until the Mt. Auburn stop light, turn RIGHT.
Directions
When Traveling West on Hwy 13 / Main… Turn south onto Old Bainbridge Trail. Eye Care Specialists is on the right. If you reach Old Rte 13 you’ve gone too far.
